The Spinning Air Chuck was designed to take the place of repeated hand motions
in a manual manufacturing process.
The operators were experiencing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Symptoms performing
the needed operations to manufacture.
Device Technologies, Inc. went to the factory and observed the operations being performed.
The focus of the Spinning Air Chuck design was to create a foot controlled Device to alleviate the repeated hand motion by the operator to perform the required task.
As a result by implementing The Spinning Air Chuck, the operator basically loaded and unloaded the product being manufactured. The repeated hand motions by the operator were eliminated and the production rate for the product was boosted dramatically.
